Finally, the barcelonian powerpop/punk kings have just released their debut album.Up until now they had been warming up the engines with their first two 7"s, their debut EP titled "My Reason to Live" and the "Blitzinformation EP", a split with the Cute Lepers that features two tracks per band.

Their debut album titled "In My Town" is now a reality, 12 tracks of sticky punk adulterated with pop melodies. The album will be released in two formats; vinyl LP and CD.Both carry 5 bonus tracks extracted from their first EP. The bonus tracks are included in the CD itself and the vinyl LP comes with a free MP3 download coupon for the entire LP plus the 5 bonus tracks.

The LP will have a limited white vinyl edition of just 200 copies besides the standard black vinyl issue. Both formats will be co-released by Daily Records and the specialized powerpop/mod revival label from Barcelona Bip Bip Records.

We got two new releases hitting the street on this September. In one side we are proud to announce a new division in our label called “Vintage Series” that we´ll be focused on high quality vinyl represses of long deleted punk, oi!, mod revival or ska gems. We start this series with the reissue of the one and only full length album by UK streetpunk legends The Crack titled “In Search Of…” that was originally issued by Link Records in 1988.

We also got a new split 7” called “Over The Top” EP with Crashed Out and Secret Army. Two of the best European punk/oi! bands today. Just take a listen and you will know why.

After having put our first two releases of the label, Daily Records keeps on backing up two new local bands. In the first place, the first CD by SECRET ARMY that was released on December 2007. A real gem on digital format that includes 7 tracks previously released on a 10" that sold out completely, plus three new studio tracks. In-your-face streetpunk for lovers of The Crack, Cock Sparrer or Section 5.

Our next reference will be a 7" EP by THE BITE, a young band from Barcelona, being this EP their discographic debut.The 5 tracks you will find in here are full of elegance and energy as it could not be otherwise given their influences; punk´77 and the english mod revival.

FIRST RELEASES FROM DAILY RECORDS

DAILY RECORDS will start their label career after this summer releasing two awesome records. First of all it's gonna be a 12" record with 5 songs from TRAVIS BICKLE a female fronted band from Barcelona. Travis Bickle plays abbrasive and melodic punk rock music with some glam/hard influences following the tradition of bands like Avengers, Motorhead, Social Distortion, Runaways or Rose Tattoo.

Next record will be a 7" and it's the first release from AGAINST THE SPIRITS a new band from Madrid with the guitar and bass player from the legendary spanish band PROUDZ. Like Travis Bickle they are also a female fronted band and they play hardcore in the vein of classics like Comeback Kid, No Turning Back, Walls Of Fericho and Outlast. They are a great old school 'core band with tons of mosh, breakdowns and inspired vocals.

Both records will be released on vinyl and limited to 525 copies and they will be available around early September.

Both bands will be playing all summer and next fall all around the spanish country and Europe with important bands from the punk and the hardcore international scene.
